Eligibility for membership:

  1. Those who believe in positive thinking, Indian lifestyle and value-based living
  2. Those who believe in programs related development of human values
  3. People related to media teaching, studies and research who support value-based education
  4. Those who are above the age of 18 years
  5. Those who are Indian
  6. Those who are purely vegetarian and not addicted to tobacco, drugs or alcohol
  7. Those who support the objectives of the society and confirm to follow the rules laid by the society

 

Membership Fees:

  1. Member: Rs. 2000.00
  2. Life member: Rs.3000.00, will have right to vote
  3. General member: Rs. 400.00, will have right to vote
  4. Honorary: Will be deputed by the core committee and the management body of the society. This membership will be valid for 1 year and is extendable upto 1 more year. There will not be more than 4 honorary members in a year. They will have right to vote
  5. Associates: Rs. 200.00. Media students who wish to serve for the society voluntarily.

Procedure for membership application forms:

 

Any person or institute applying for the membership of the society shall have to pay Rs.200.00 (Rupees Two Hundred only, which is non-refundable) along with the application form and a signed copy of agreement to acceptance to follow the rules laid by the society. The society holds the right to decide on the acceptance or rejection of the application forms and the decisions taken would be final.

Cancellation of membership:

 Under following circumstances the membership would be cancelled by the society:

  1. found with criminal background
  2. on submitting the resignation from the membership
  3. death of the member
  4. found mentally unfit
  5. detained from the membership
  6. non-renewal of membership

Detainment from the membership:

A member found guilty in carrying/supporting any activities which are harmful for the image of society and is against the rule and regulations laid by the society, is liable for the cancellation of his membership. The decision will be taken by the core committee and the management body. A chance of course for justification would be given to the member.

Register (Member record):

Society will maintain a record of register which will carry following information:

  1. Name of the member, address and signature
  2. Date of registration and class
  3. Membership fees, receipt no. and date etc.
  4. Cancellation of membership with reasons

The fees collected from the members would be deposited in the funds account of the society. These funds are non-transferable
